BACKGROUND OF THE ASSOCIATION
Jehovah jireh corporate association was started in March 2017 but the dream to start it was first initiated in 2016. The idea to start the group was started by four individuals who include; Kamukama Gadlight, Ochige Ivan Kaiga Bernard and Kalisa Innocent, who saw the need to develop a strong bond of love and care within the youth members and also develop the capacity to help out each other emotionally and financially.
The group decided to use the name Jehovah Jireh because we as Christians receive all the blessing from the lord and he alone can give us the ability to provide to others just as he provides to us. The word Jehovah jireh means; God my provider.
The association started operations with a number of five youth members that were selected depending on their level of integrity and nature of character. Therefore, when the organization started to operate, funds would be collected and extended to the party who is to receive the funds and in case of any member would fall sick, the savings from the group are taken to extend a helping hand to the family of the member. The youth group had two objectives at the start but as time went on, the management of the community added more activities in the group which were seen to be a very vital aspect that has to be taken into consideration when handling the life of a youth. The management of the group started having fellowships where the members are given to watch sermons and after given the opportunity to tell the group what they have learnt from the sermons and inspirational Christ centered movies which help the youth member to grow up with and up right Christ centered character and great faith. The group members in the group are encouraged to put everything that they learn into practice because “life under the sun depends on the way you live. You are whatever you decided to be. Everyone on earth is who he or she is because of the decisions they make.”
The association seeks to nature youth members into great leaders and agents of change. This is being done by having the youth members in the association exposed to scriptural teaching which are very vital in the life of a youth and help the members to develop into respectable individuals in the society who understand how to conduct themselves in the morally right way.
The group also seeks to grow into a great association that is going to nature the young generation of today into important individuals in the future.

We envision a community where all youth stand for each other and develop to their full potentials and achieve their goals in life, while having a sound and great character to inspire others.
